National Indigenous Peoples Day

June 21

National Indigenous Peoples Day is a time to celebrate the rich heritage, diverse cultures, and invaluable contributions of First Nations, Métis, and Inuit peoples across Canada. Coinciding with the summer solstice, this day holds deep meaning as many Indigenous communities gather to honour their traditions, ancestral knowledge, and connection to the land.

In recognition of this day, we’re sharing resources that highlight Indigenous approaches to wellness—including healthy relationships with food rooted in traditional knowledge, decolonizing health practices, and the connection between traditional healing and modern brain science.
